An old tradition of the Chinchorro Culture has long not been recognised. To change this ambitions in declarin the Chinchorro mummies as World Heritage Site have succeeded. This consequently, led to an approach in recognising this culture further an creating a muesum and archaeological park. Many factors had to be considered and implement but in the end approach was successful and furthermore led to the empowerment and edcuation of the local community.
