The destination of Pedro Gomes was dealing with a lack of environmental education in the community. To tackle this issue, the Change 1 Habit program was created. It aims at involving and educating the community by running campaigns, doing workshops, presentations, and other events, focusing on waste disposal and environmental pollution. This initiative is above all beneficial for the community and its future generations who were given the tools to preserve their home and improve their quality of life.
