Tartu recognises the power events hold but also realises that events can have a big impact on the environment. To combat this issue, the have created guidelines for environmentally friendly events that event organisers are invited to use to make their events greener. This inititative has already gained significant results with the first event to follow the guidelines becoming a finalist in the New Bauhaus Prize competition.
